Just received a call from an unknown number(+6016 2266409), she introduced herself as Azrina, claimed that she is an event reservation agent. She invited me to joint a Hi-Tea at One World Hotel this Saturday (8th AUGUST 2009) at 12-2pm, organised by JSI (Jardin Smith International), FOC!!!! She offered me that I can bring along 2-3 people to go, plus after the event end, we can even get RM100 Jusco voucher!!!!
Search through the internet, knowing that JSI is a company offering some kind of land investment plans, so-called land banking.
-Land Banking simply involves the acquisition of land, which does not enjoy planning consent, in advance of expanding urbanization. The price of an open space plot, not immediately subject to urban development pressures is low. When urban expansion occurs the land rises in value when planning consent is granted.
-Land banking is unregulated , and thus falls into a legal grey area. This could pose problems if disputes arise between companies and individual investors. You cannot complaint to Central Bank of Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia) for dispute as land banking is not under its purview.

What JSI offered is they're gonna offer you a "chance" to buy land plots by paying for a figure and wait for 3-7 years, we'll get back the return as in "profit". Anyway, it seems to be another scam for me....no matter what it is, I really not interested with it.
Sorry Azrina, I really don't have that much money to invest, even though JSI is so "kind" (desperate) to allow people to deposit with credit card, lolx... \('~`)/
I rather enjoying my investment in unit trust which already led me to more than 20% profit, kakaka~

Welcome, nowadays really hv alot different kind of MLM or scam activities. Just be careful, think twice before take any action.

I also often receive this kind of call, i often stop them in the beginning, it will just wasting my time in listening to them...
I attended jardin smith in One World Hotel today after getting calls many times from their sale rep. She is very agressive and can see that I am not easily convinced to invest in the land she is promoting. She is getting rude and impatient when I told her that I need to check the background of her company before I committed myself. She insists that I must believe her and start the investment today at a discount. I feel like slapping her. I have wasted my time comming to the event and be treated like that. Good investment don't come by so easily. Scam maybe.
